We had a great start to the day today as students were greeted with high fives by staff and community members. The Macdonald Fire Department, RCMP and the School Board joined us in our tunnel of high fives!
After the tunnel of high fives we had a surprise announcement for the school from one of our grade 1 students. Coralie shared with the school a quote about the importance and power of kind words. Then we headed down to the gym for an assembly put on by the student council. The assembly introduced and started the Great Kindness Challenge.
All of this combined with a "Dreaming of Kindness" spirit day(Pyjama Day) has been a great start to the Great Kindness Challenge at J. A. Cuddy School.
